Each of our clients:
Our focus is on the word “each” because at KM Fitness our value proposition is one on one fitness and nutrition coaching, and training with each specific client. We aim to customize and personalize our programs to each individual client in an effort to meet that person’s specific needs.
To Attain Optimal Health and Fitness:
Optimal signifies the best possible outcome for each individual client since each person is unique. This is our ultimate goal. It is reinforced by Our brand’s tagline
“Health Coaching & Fitness Training.” Every service or product that KM Fitness offers is created or selected to that end.
Our 5 pillars of success through Sleep, Hydration, Nutrition, Stress Management and Exercise:
Since starting KM Fitness in 2004, we have created a system that would encompass the 5 Pillars of Health and Fitness which are: Sleep, Hydration, Nutrition, Stress Management and Exercise.
They are in the order of most importance. You can not function without Sleep, Water and Food, so they come first. Smoking like you are on fire, and drinking like you are trying to put it out is not proper stress management, but that is exactly how some people react to stress. Exercise not only has the ability to improve your weight, and get you stronger, but is also one of the most effective ways to lower physical, mental and spiritual stress, and lower inflammation in the body. We teach the 5 Pillars, because we believe that is the only way to get you your from where you are, to where you want to be.
Supported by committed professionals:
We are committed to ongoing education. We compile knowledge through research, ongoing training, attendance at conferences and participation in forums. We share our knowledge through our website, blogs, articles and ebooks. We continue to build upon what years of experience has taught us and successful outcomes with our clients have proven.
In an atmosphere of encouragement:
Fitness is not a competition. At KM Fitness we create an atmosphere of encouragement and positive reinforcement which foster’s successful outcomes for clients. We want our clients to be successful. Our clients are praised for trying and also for resting when it’s necessary. Each body is unique and has its own limits. We work with our clients to structure a personal standard that is meaningful.
Sleep is involved in healing and repair of your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk of heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and stroke.
Stay hydrated gradually, throughout the day. Drink fluids, or eat water-rich foods. A healthy person needs 30 to 50 ounces of fluid per day. Drinking fluids is crucial to staying healthy and maintaining the function of every system in your body, including your heart, brain, and muscles.
Why nutrition is important. Eating a balanced diet is vital for good health and well being. Food provides our bodies with the energy, protein, essential fats, vitamins and minerals to live, grow and function properly. We need a wide variety of different foods to provide the right amounts of nutrients for good health.
When chronic stress is not properly managed, however, it can cause serious health effects including; increased blood pressure, suppressed immune system, greater risk of heart attacks and strokes and an increased chance of experiencing some form of mental or emotional health issues.
In fact, exercise is one of the most important parts of keeping your body at a healthy weight. Exercise helps people lose weight and lower the risk of some diseases.Exercising to maintain a healthy weight decreases a person’s risk of developing certain diseases, including type 2 diabetes and high blood pressure.
